In his seventh appearance, Fox--always a bit too clever for his own good--gets three more just deserts: when he cheats by using little sister Louise as the engine of his homemade race car; when a neighbor gleefully absconds with the beloved comics he has mendaciously disparaged; and when Louise, abandoned in her Halloween pumpkin costume by the older kids, renders some delightfully novel and appropriate poetic justice. About the Author
James Marshall was one of the most prolific and successful author/illustrators of children's books. He was best known for his series on the mischievous exploits of Fox, a debonair, lazy showoff; the uproarious adventures of the two Cut-Ups, Spud and Joe; George and Martha; and the misadventures of the Stupidfamily. He divided his time between an apartment in the Chelsea district of New York and his home in Mansfield Hollow Connecticut.

Fun Reading Together

I typically read it out loud first then my 7 year old niece reads it back. The pictures are fun and the font clear and large.

My 8 year old son had a great laugh reading this book. In fact he wanted us to get all the other books in the series by James Marshall. Highly recommended.

Pretty good book

My book is called Fox Outfoxed. The mane characters are Fox, Louse, Carmen, Dexter and they are wanting to win a race and the race was in the afternoon. They were doing the race outside to have fun. I think fox Fox Outfoxed is a good book because it is about some animals that sometimes have adventures and go to school. That's why I think it is a good book. And I would recommend this to my sister, Katie, because she likes animals and there are lots of animals in the book. By Matthew Z.
